Project: Greeting Card Series

Brief: Create a set of three greeting cards with a limited color palette

My true love is puns, so I based mine on a series of science puns. For my colors, I went with a complimentary blue/orange color scheme. I added a yellow-leaning cream color and dusty blue/gray to balance it out and add some variety.

To help tie the cards together, the party hat is used in each one.

This is my take on the fun guy/fungi word play. It is also my favorite of the three. The lines are very organic and the second mushroom pun really makes it.

This is my second favorite of the bunch. The stoic-looking pi symbol paired with the balloon and party hat is just really fun.

This is my least favorite of the bunch. I probably should have used the blue rather than the cream on the front to tie it in better with the other cards.
